Founded in 1997, by local parents looking for child centred education, the school has grown from a successful kindergarten and opened its first classes for children aged 6 and over in 2012. It now caters for children from the 3, and plans to grow further, adding a sixth-form by 2020.The school’s ethos is based on the educational philosophy of Waldorf Steiner; providing an inspiring and nurturing education based on the needs of the whole child and taking into account their academic, physical, emotional and spiritual needs. There are currently 60 children on roll, and a staff of 25, with parents and families encouraged to also take part and share their skills and knowledge with the school community.
