South Croydon, Surrey
Croydon High School is a girls' school for pupils aged 3 to 18 and a member of the Girls' Day School Trust. The school describes itself as dynamic and forward-thinking, focused on developing skills such as creativity, flexibility, resilience and leadership alongside strong public examination results.
Girls are encouraged to celebrate their unique qualities and talents with confidence, and to break down perceived barriers to reach their individual potential. Pupils can try a wide range of competitive sports, including gymnastics, cross country and athletics, and take part in Forest School lessons held in a natural setting on site.
Pastoral care runs through school life, with buddy and mentoring programmes across both the Junior and Senior School. A sign language club covers a different topic each week and gives members the chance to learn British Sign Language.
