How is this calculated?
The High School of Dundee is a day school for boys and girls aged between 3 and 18 years. Founded in the thirteenth century, the school is one of the oldest in the United Kingdom. It is also the largest school in Tayside and Fife, with a total of 1000 students. However, with a ratio of one teacher to every ten pupils, each individual child still receives the highest possible level of support to ensure that they reach their full potential.

Entrance to the school is via assessment to establish whether the school is the right place for each child. For the youngest children, the assessment takes the form of play-based activities. Prospective primary school pupils attend a taster day at the school and sit written assessments in English and Mathematics. Senior school pupils also experience taster days at the school and their written examination tests their cognitive abilities.
