Boarding at Queen Ethelburga’s College
QE College offers an exceptional boarding experience designed to support students academically, socially and personally. Modern boarding facilities provide comfortable accommodation, en-suite rooms, kitchens and welcoming spaces to relax and socialise.
Boarders benefit from full access to the school’s outstanding facilities beyond the school day, including dedicated study areas, revision support, creative spaces, a gym, swimming pool and extensive sports facilities.
Life at QE is about more than studying. Students can enjoy a wide range of activities, social events and weekend trips to cities and attractions across the North of England. They also develop valuable life skills through practical sessions covering cooking, budgeting, laundry and independent living.
During school holidays, students can also take part in Holidays at QE, with themed activities, trips and continued access to the school’s facilities.
