Kilgraston’s educational performance places us as one of the very best schools in the United Kingdom, year after year. Kilgraston exam results were outstanding in 2020, seeing girls achieve above the national average, at all examination levels. In 2020, 100% of our pupils passed their Advanced Highers and 100% of our pupils were accepted into their first choice of university onto the course of their choice. Individuality is encouraged to flourish and each person is empowered within the academic environment.
The setting for the school is in the beautiful Perthshire countryside with its stunning scenery and wildlife. The school campus consists of 54 acres of parkland which provide a tranquil and gentle-paced environment, allowing the pupils both time and space to concentrate without distraction. Our ambition for each child is to stimulate and develop her individual character and personality. Our teaching inspires and challenges our pupils to aim at the highest level and enables them to attain it. In the recent HMIE and Care Inspectorate report, inspectors noted that: “Young people thrive in this stimulating environment for learning and make the most of the extensive range of enriching activities and learning experiences offered to them.”
The distinctive Kilgraston experience is designed to develop young people who have a thirst for life-long, independent learning and a vital commitment to making a real difference to the world around them. The very best way to get a true flavour of Kilgraston is to visit us in person and we would be delighted to welcome you to the School. Please get in touch to discuss the options available to you.
Kilgraston has day pupils from ages 5 – 18 and boarders from 8 – 18. We welcome applications for day and boarding places from UK and International pupils and currently have over 12 countries represented at Kilgraston. We understand that choosing a school for your child is one of the most important and life-defining decisions you can make. We know how important it is to find the right school. That is why we meet and talk with each family and will only offer a place if we believe we are the right school for yourselves and most importantly, child. Our Senior School is girls only but our Junior School is co-ed so we have places for boys and girls from age five to twelve years old. Please contact us to find out more about how we can help your child be the best version of themselves.
