Nestled in 11 acres of magnificent grounds and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of city life is St Clare’s, an independent day school with a very strong academic profile. Close to the Glamorgan Heritage Coast and convenient for nearby Swansea, Bridgend, Cowbridge and Vale of Glamorgan, St Clare’s provides a return to traditional values and standards in a modern setting. We believe good manners, high personal standards of dress and a culture of mutual respect and courtesy are extremely important. At St Clare’s we believe that every pupil should be given the opportunity to excel in whatever they choose to do. We strive for excellence by employing the best teachers, to provide the best learning experiences in a small and family friendly environment. We treat every pupil as an individual to ensure that their learning journey is tailored to get the very best for them. Our results speak for themselves but more than that, our pupils leave us equipped with the skills and character to go “above and beyond” in whatever they choose to do in the future.
St Clare’s School Nursery, Pre-Prep, Prep, Senior School and Sixth Form is a co-educational day school for children aged 2 ½ to 18 years. Since no two children are the same and therefore our approach is to teach each and every child in the most effective way for them; we call this individualised learning. St Clare’s will always be small enough to ensure that we have a deep and valuable knowledge of every individual pupil but large enough to create meaningful communities and provide a wide and varied academic, pastoral, enrichment and extra-curricular offer.
In choosing St Clare’s as a school for your son or daughter you are ensuring that they are educated in a nurturing environment and will realise their full potential. Our motto is Achievement Challenge Excellence. The best way to get to know us is to join one of our virtual Open Mornings or a socially distanced private tour. We look forward to welcoming you.
