At Tranby, we provide a carefully judged blend of academic challenge, pastoral support and extra-curricular opportunity amid the glorious surroundings of the historically significant Tranby Croft. We are committed to bringing out the best in everyone and have a ‘no ceilings’ approach to what our pupils can achieve. Examination success is only part of the picture. Art, music, drama, dance, sport, community service projects and many clubs and societies create a vibrant atmosphere and help all pupils to flourish and enjoy their time at school. Everyone matters and the pastoral care at the school ensures pupils feel supported and valued throughout their time here.
Tranby Prep, Senior, Sixth Form and our Nursery; The Croft at Tranby, aims to embrace everyone who walks through our doors. We wish our visitors to have the abiding impression that they were welcomed, noticed, respected and would be welcome to return. The main focus of such care is on the pupils: potential, current or former. Small class sizes allow our teachers to really know your child as an individual, to give them more attention, have greater understanding of their academic profile and allows us to support them in the best way and provide extension of their skills and knowledge so that they reach their fullest potential. A Level Results 2022 - Students received well-deserved grades and cemented their places at competitive university courses across the country. 94% of grades were at grade A*-C equivalent, and over a third of all grades received were at A*. 100% of students secured entry to their first choice institution on the day. The best way to get to know the school is to come for a visit, experience the buzz and energy of Tranby Croft, enjoy the stunning grounds and, of course, meet the pupils who make it such an exciting place to work and learn. You’ll be sure of a warm reception whether you are a prospective parent or pupil, or a former pupil.
